Start at Johnson County Community College. Finish at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus. That’s the premise behind Start2Finish, an educational partnership between JCCC and KU Edwards Campus.

That’s also the premise behind the Third Annual Start2Finish 5K Run-Walk benefiting undergraduate scholarships.

The 5K race begins at JCCC, and then continues down Quivira Road to end at the KU Edwards Campus. Last year our number of participants more than doubled to 400!

Proceeds from the run will go toward scholarships for JCCC students who continue their education at the Edwards Campus. To date more than $26,000 has been raised through the race.

2010 Event Details

  • Certified point-to-point 5k race. View map of race course
  • Medals to top 3 finishers in each age group.
  • Shuttles take runners/walkers to the start of the race. Park at the KU Edwards Campus.

Post-race activites:
- Free food for everyone
- Short-distance race for kids ages 2 to 8
- Special gift for race finishers
- Mist stations along the course
